Positive Developments in China and Korea Continue

Hoyer Motors Asia continues to grow faster than expected, doubling revenue since the last financial year. And according to Ketil Vesterlund, CEO of Hoyer Motors Asia, there is every reason to be satisfied with the year’s results, both in terms of development and the bottom line:

“Every day our knowledge of the market increases – and we generally find that our set-up is very well received by our core customers.”

Core customers primarily count global businesses within the wind and marine industries and high-end industries in general. There is particularly strong demand for IE2 motors; a full programme of these is supplied by Hoyer Motors Asia, a key strength on the Asian market at the moment.

“Due to the weak economic climate which is afflicting the marine industry, we have broadened our focus to also include other sectors. It has been necessary to expand our perspectives and pursue new paths to create the necessary growth so we can live up to our ambitions,” says Ketil Vesterlund.

Hoyer Motors Asia expands with new sales manager
Hoyer Motors Asia has also employed a new sales manager at its Chinese office. Max Chen is a highly competent resource with many years of experience, among things from the Sany Group, USA.

Status of the Korean market
On March 1, 2012, Hoyer Motors Asia opened a new sales office in Busan, South Korea, with expectations of growing sales – expectations which still hold.

“We are positive about the Korean market, and Korea is, in every way, a natural and appropriate place for Hoyer Motors Asia to be represented. Our first man at the Busan office is installed, and he has got off to a good start, identifying the market and developing the business,” says Ketil Vesterlund.
