This means that Hoyer Motors will soon be able to supply a complete programme of IE3 motors, which for larger motors (in excess of 7.5 kW) is a requirement from 1 January 2015 – and for smaller motors a requirement from early 2017.

“With IE3 motors in stock in the near future, Hoyer Motors can service customers who want to be at the forefront of developments,” says Erik Just Petersen, Technical Manager, Hoyer Motors.

The company is also up to date with new marine approvals for IE2 motors from Bureau Veritas and GL – approvals which make it possible for Hoyer Motors to serve and service a wider range of customers. Hoyer Motors also expects to soon implement DNV and KR certifications.
